Preparation of post-war monetary policy

HISTORY OF CZECHOSLOVAK CURRENCY.

During the war, the Czechoslovak government-in-exile in England established the Czechoslovak Monetary Authority in London by decree of the President of the Republic Edvard Beneš of 12 November 1944, which was preparing to restore our monetary situation after the war. He was under the Minister of Finance, who was Eduard Outrat until 1941, followed by Ladislav Feierabend. An important contribution of the government in exile to the consolidation of post-war monetary conditions was the preparation and production of new Czechoslovak money, which was put into circulation after the liberation during the monetary reform on November 1, 1945. A government delegation led by Finance Minister Ladislav Feierabend signed the founding documents of these institutions in Bretton Woods in July 1944.
